Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Ultimate Service Associates (USA), that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers and communities, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
The USA team members are equipped with laptop computers, cell phones, and we have VPN connectivity to the servers. Our office is equipped with a UPS and back up generator, with automatic transfer switch, to keep our services up and running. Currently part of our staff are working in the office and others are working remotely from home.
All of our Service Providers are continuing to respond to scheduled work and emergency calls for service. Some of the Service Providers Technicians will only communicate by cell phone, and will not have personal contact while on site, if it can be avoided. Most of the generators are located outside, limiting the personal contact.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control statements concerning the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our staff on the importance of washing their hands, personal hygiene with respect to coughing and sneezing and staying home if they feel sick.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates as they develop. Our primary concern is that we all stay safe and healthy!
